The USS Onizuka is a correspondence chapter of STARFLEET International, based out of Chico, California within STARFLEET Region Four (Nevada, Arizona, California, and Hawai'i).

We organized as a community-service organization and take part in various community fundraising events, volunteering time at various local charities, and keeping alive Gene Roddenberry’s dream of a great future.

Most activities take place online, including (for most) receiving our monthly newsletter by email, but we also sometimes have local (Chico, California, USA) events such as our annual Cookie Runs for firefighters and law enforcement officers during the holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas).

Correspondence Chapters

Correspondence chapters, or Correy chapters as they are sometime called, provide a wonderful opportunity for members of STARFLEET. Whether you live in a remote, rural area; your schedule is too hectic to make a monthly in-person meeting; or you just enjoy hanging out on-line correspondence chapters can provide an outlet for your energy, creativity, and imagination.
