The USS Wessex is a correspondence chapter of STARFLEET International, based out of Oceanside, California within STARFLEET Region Four (Nevada, Arizona, California, and Hawai'i).  We are a correspondence chapter, so we don't have face-to-face meetings. We meet online through Google Groups, Facebook, and Twitter for ship's business, role-playing, share fan fiction, and general socializing.

The ship was named after the old English/Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Alfred. The golden wyvern on a background of red was his symbol, and our motto "Bring It On!" mirrors the fighting spirit of those days.

You don't have to live in California to join us - our horizons stretch much farther than that. Just join SFI, and join the fun!
